Stage Management by Jordyn Fitch ’20

Feminist Shakespare is an exploration and reworking of women's monologues from a vast array of Shakespeare's works. Through weaving together excerpts of women's voices from many different works, the show aims to discuss gender, domestic abuse, sexual violence, and women's resiliency.

Cast includes: Justine Goggin '18, Angelina DiPaolo '17, Alexis Wallace '17, Mimi Fiertz '18, Virginia Cook '18, Lucia McGloin '17, and Maddie Dunn '17.

Saturday, April 29 @ 7 PM and Sunday, April 30 @ 2 PM

"Crickets Ate the Moon" by Charli Fool Bear-Vetter '15

The Department's YOUR SPACE program presents a reading of Charli Fool Bear-Vetter's award-winning play:

CRICKETS ATE THE MOON

Crickets Ate the Moon tells the story of Celena Bear Spirit, a 21 year old Native American woman, fighting against suppressed trauma and depression. Defiantly optimistic, Lena strives to keep herself and her family afloat despite the consuming nature of her illness. Crickets Ate the Moon speaks to erasing stigma against mental illness and the powerful resilience of Native women.

Would you or your student group like to perform in the Bentley Theater this October? 

The YOUR SPACE production slot for Fall Term is the weekend of October 6-8.  (When you apply you may choose up to two dates during this weekend for your performance.) 

**There are No prerequisites to apply for this production slot - all undergraduates/groups are eligible.**

It's easy to apply; deadline for email applications is NOON on MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 18.
