Eloise Margaret Langan '27
Eloise Margaret Langan is a writer, artist and theater maker. Her play Be the Boy premiered at The Tank’s LimeFest in New York City last August. She received the Robert H. Nutt ’49 Fund Award and won the Eleanor Frost Playwriting Competition in both 2024 and 2025, and she won the Ralston Prize and the William C. Spengemann Award in Writing in 2025. This spring, she starred in and co-directed a table reading of the pilot episode of Dirty Shirley, an animated comedy series she wrote with Sophie Cohen, at HanUnder. She is the vice president of Can’t Sell Culture Comedy Collective and the editor of The Dartmouth’s cartoon section.
Julianna Wong '28
Julianna Wong is a ’28 from Skillman, New Jersey, studying German modified with music, religion, and public policy. She is abroad this term on the Vienna Music FSP, bubbling with enough creative energy to draft a poem a day and one song per week. Although she had never written a screenplay before Sex and Other Failures, she won second place for an original scene in German theater on the Berlin FSP and is currently working on her first play. She likes to write dreams into reality with a touch of cruelly comic fate and metadrama. Her work is inspired by almosts, in-betweens and feeling older, but not wiser, than her 2007 birth year.
