Auditions for "Feminist Shakespeare" on April 10-11

Announcing OPEN AUDITIONS on April 10 and 11 for a YOUR SPACE production of:

FEMINIST SHAKESPEARE (or, Unsex Me Here)

An original piece, arranged and directed by Kelly Gaudet '17

Performances will be in the Bentley Theater, Saturday and Sunday, April 29 & 30.

ABOUT THE SHOW:

Feminist Shakespare is an exploration and reworking of women's monologues from a vast array of Shakespeare's works. Through weaving together excerpts of women's voices from many different works, the show aims to discuss gender, domestic abuse, sexual violence, and women's resiliency.

****AUDITIION INFORMATION***

Auditions will take place next Monday and Tuesday in the Rehearsal Room in the HOP (located in the basement of Shakespeare Alley, which is the hallway to the left of the Moore Theater).

MONDAY, April 10, from 6:30 PM - 9:30 PM

TUESDAY, April 11, from 7 PM - 9:30 PM

Actors should sign up on-line for a fifteen-minute slot on either April 10 or 11, HERE

Auditions will consist of two monologues (no need to memorize them), found HERE.

**no experience necessary**

Rehearsal time committment:  3-4 times a week, about 2 hours each. (It's possible that not every actor is needed for every rehearsal; to be determined.)
