Three short comedies from legendary playwrights come together to create Debutantes From Hell: One Night Only!! Medea by Wendy Wasserstein and Christopher Durang, skewers Greek drama and the contemporary actresses forced to perform it. Variations on the Death of Trotsky by David Ives envisions the understandably awkward 24 hours between Mr. Trotsky's being struck in the head with an axe and his death. And in George Is Dead by Elaine May, a freak accident forces the unhappy reunion between coddled socialite Doreen and Carla, her former nanny's adult daughter. Join us for all five utterly hilarious stages of grief, with four playwrights, three plays, and two performances of Debutantes From Hell: One Night Only!!
