Shattered by his father's murder and horrified by his mother's hasty remarriage to his scheming uncle, Hamlet must avenge his father's death in this briskly paced production of Shakespeare's classic tragedy. Set in antebellum New Orleans with nods to the Southern Gothic tradition, this lavishly wrought production explores the intersection of life and the afterlife.

The November 7 performance will be captioned and there will be a cast/director talkback after the November 8 performance. Please note the opening night performance time has been changed to 4:30 pm.
