Biography

Robert David Grant is a graduate of Princeton University, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude before going on to receive his MFA in Acting from Yale School of Drama, affording him the opportunity to study with many of the leading voices in 21st century actor training. As a professional actor Robert has performed in New York and around the country, as well as appearing on TV in HBO's Succession, CBS's The Equalizer, Fox/Hulu's The Orville and other shows. As an actor he specializes in Shakespeare, having appeared in at least 20 productions, including as the title character in Macbeth (Northern Stage), Hamlet with Oscar winner Paul Giamatti (Yale Repertory Theater) and Henry IV; Part 1 (Shakespeare Theater of NJ), where he had a small role but met his wife, so an overall win.

Robert served for years as Director of Education at Northern Stage Theater and currently coaches for Act of Communication, a consulting firm specializing in public speaking and performance within the legal profession. Robert is a certified Miller Voice Method teacher, where he has since joined the faculty, helping people develop the tools to bring their most authentic, courageous and charismatic self to every interaction. Driven by a deep interest in performance psychology, Robert specializes in building confidence in actors and non-actors alike by amplifying each individual's natural gifts while offering techniques to overcome their particular challenges.
