ABOUT THE PLAY AND THE PRODUCTION
An original work written by Creative Writing major Maddy Waters '19. A dramatic, queer re-telling/reinterpretation of the classical myth Cupid and Psyche, this one-act play uses a non-linear, experimental structuire to grapple with the modern queer themes of an ancient story. 

This is a Studio Lab project directed by Kelleen Moriarty '19, encompassing approximately 12 hours of rehearsal over 3 weeks. The project will culminate in a staged reading performance in the Bentley Theater on Saturday February 2 @ 8:00 pm. Please note that students involved in this project are still eligible to be cast/involved in other theater department productions this term. Students are encouraged to read the script prior to auditions! Cupid and Psyche is

AUDITION DETAILS
No previous performance experience is neccesary!

Students are encouraged to

prior to auditions. At the audition you may be asked to read sides (selections) from the script.

*All roles are available to students of any race who identify as queer and a woman/nonbinary
