[more]The Department of Theater is thrilled to welcome four visiting lecturers for Fall term; Kenneth Ard, Georgina Escobar, Myxolydia Tyler, and Madison Williams. Kenneth Ard will be teaching a new course; THEA 10.35: Jazz Dance for Theatre.
[more]During the Spring term of 2024, Dr. Monica Ndounou, Associate Professor of Theater, taught the second iteration of her highly successful course, "Curating Black Theater" (THEA 10/AAAS 32). This class provided its students an opportunity to learn about Black theater history, scholarship and practice in the U.S. and abroad. In the process, students helped develop ideas and curated exhibits that represented a range of formats and platforms.
[more]The Department of Theater is thrilled to announce our 2024-25 MainStage season. The Department produces two MainStage productions each year. These productions are directed, choreographed and designed by top-quality, experienced industry professionals. Fall 2024 MainStage: Hamlet by William Shakespeare Directed by Myxolydia Tyler Performances will be November 1-9, 2024 in the Theater on Currier Winter 2025 MainStage: The School for Lies by David Ives Directed by Jamie Horton
