THEA 54: Directing - Register Now for Fall!

ATTENTION ALL THEATER STUDENTS:

THEA 54: Directing will only be offered next year in Fall 2024, not Spring 2025. If you have taken THEA 30: Acting I and interested in Directing, please reach out to Peter Hackett or Catherine Jacobs to get Instructor Permission to register for this course for Fall.

A little bit about THEA 54: Directing:

An introductory course in directing for the stage.  This class will focus primarily on text analysis and basic actor coaching techniques, culminating in staging scenes by authors from diverse cultural backgrounds. Particular attention will be paid to methods for building a creative ensemble based on respect and mutual understanding.
