  • Class of 2025 Honors Thesis deadlines

    Because of the schedule for our move back into the HOP, any 2025 Thesis projects that involve staged work will be performed in Winter 2025 (rather than in Spring 2025, which would be the usual schedule). This means that the calendar for submitting proposals and taking Thesis credits (THEA 91 and THEA 92) is pushed earlier than usual.

  • AUDITION for A Dream Play

    A Dream Play, written by August Strindberg and adapted by Caryl Churchill is a Senior Honors Thesis production, directed and designed by students. It will be fully produced and designed, and actors will need to be off book (that is, memorize their lines) for this production. This production will be casting and have some commitment during Winter 2024 term. Auditions will be held January 8 & 10 from 7-10pm.   Performances will be May 3-4, 2024. Synopsis:

  • Orphan Play by Maggie MacDonald '23

    The department of theater is excited to announce a Seniors Honors Thesis performances for Orphan Play by Maggie MacDonald '23.   Orphan Play is a new work by Maggie MacDonald '23 which follows a playwright as she tries to write an autobiographical play. As she writes, she begins to relive her memories in the theatrical space of her imagination. Based on MacDonald's life, Orphan Play grapples with grief, loss and the traumas of growing up. Performances will be May 5 at 8pm and May 6 at 4pm and 8pm in Wilson 301.
