The Department of Theater was saddened to learn of the recent death of Lorna C. Hill '73, an actor, playwright, poet, teacher, and activist. One of the first African American women to graduate from Dartmouth, Ms. Hill was a groundbreaking figure both in Hanover NH and in the broader theatrical community.

It’s Beautiful, Over There will be performed at the acclaimed Edinburgh Fringe Festival in August 2019. An original work about death, grief, and the kind of loss that changes our lives, Stephanie's piece was first created and performed as a 2015 honors thesis project at Dartmouth.

Northern Stage's annual festival of original and developing work will include a reading of a new play written by Celeste Jennings '18 as part of a Senior Fellowship project. Citrus will be performed January 19 @ 7:30 pm, with a cast that includes a number of current Dartmouth students.
