A timeless and deeply relevant Tony Award-winning musical, with music and lyrics from the great Stephen Sondheim and a book by James Lapine. The story follows a Baker and his wife, who wish to have a child; Cinderella, who wishes to attend the King's Festival; and Jack, who wishes his cow would give milk. When the Baker and his wife learn that they cannot have a child because of a Witch's curse, the two set off on a journey to break the curse. Many wishes are granted, but the far-reaching consequences of individual actions return to haunt the characters later with disastrous results. One of Sondheim's most beloved works, Into the Woods is musically sophisticated, with excellent opportunities for delving into the performance of dark comedy.

Into the Woods will be performed in the Moore Theater on the following dates and times:

February 22-23 & 28 @ 8:00 pm

March 1-2 @ 8:00 pm

The produciton will be stage managed by the students of Kathleen Cunneen's THEA 41 Stage Management class.
