Live streamed play reading, followed by post-show discussion
Sunday May 31 at 2:00 pm (ET)

This is the story of a woman, no ordinary young girl, for God had blessed her with an incredible power. In a reimagining of the biblical narrative of Samson, this play explores faith, power, activism, and claiming your place in this world. An original work.

About This Performance

  • This performance will be hosted via Zoom webinar. A maximum of 100 people may attend in the webinar format, so audience members will be admitted on a first-come, first-serve basis. Unlike a regular Zoom meeting, webinar viewers have neither video nor audio feed, so there will be no need to mute yourself or to disable your video.
  • Following the performance, Sam, her advisor Dr. Monica Ndounou, and the company will be taking questions from the audience. Attendees can use the "Q&A" feature (located in the bottom toolbar of your Zoom webinar screen) to convey any questions that you may have for the artists.
  • Note that you can optimize your viewing experience by restarting your computer a few minutes before starting your screening and by closing other applications and windows.
