ABOUT THE PLAY AND THE PRODUCTION
A passionate librarian prepares a presentation to convince her board members not to dispose of her precious "miscellaneous" department during an upcoming purge of the library's least borrowed books. As she prepares her presentation to try and save the beloved books in her neglected department, she consults with the library's young, up-and-coming hotshot Shakespearean librarian.
Rivka's Reading Rainbow! is a fast-paced short play written by Emma Ginberg '23, directed by Alex Bramsen '22 as a studio lab project. Rehearsals will begin in-person on or around Monday January 17; the project will rehearse approximately 30 hours in total, with a final performance either Friday or Saturday, January 28 or 29 in the Bentley Theater.
