Oh, Rats.
By Eloise Langan '27
When a young woman comes face-to-face with a coalition of every man she has ever had sex with in a subway station, she is forced to confront her past and grapple with her self-worth and identity. Meanwhile, two rats on the ground face an existential crisis. A makeshift funeral brings them all together in a feminist comedy about sex, death, and what it means to love.
The Pain of My Mother
By Addison Verot '25
In 1970 southern Louisiana, the life of teenage girl, Missy, struggles under the pressure of societal and religious expectations when she finds out she is pregnant after her first time having (premarital!) sex.
Please note: After careful consideration, the department has decided that it can better support and more appropriately produce the winner of the Dodd Playwriting Festival In Case of Bruising by Kamila Boga '25 after the beginning of the fall term. We will not produce the Dodd play this summer and will instead produce it later in the academic year.
