THE LATE WEDDING

by Christopher Chen

directed by Alex Campbell '26

The Late Wedding is a surrealist, meta-theatrical play that explores real-life relationship dynamics while also examining the relationships between artist, art, and audience. The line between artist-actor-character is often blurred, and the fourth wall is broken with a ritualistic regularity. The play is funny yet vulnerable, messy yet poignant; the characters contain these multitudes as well. Despite the surreal world the characters must navigate, their stakes and relationships are real-–committing to the serious within the strange will be key to bringing this play to life.

The Late Wedding Performances will be Friday, May 9 @ 7:30pm and Saturday, May 10 @3pm & 7:30pm at the Theater on Currier.

Tickets are free but reservations are suggested as space is limited.  You can reserve your spot here.
