Inspired by the recent ecotheatre movement, Water Horse attempts to bridge the gap between human and nature through an exploration of how animals can participate in theatrical performance to tell a narrative of their own. It tells the story of the journey of a horse and a girl, as seen through the legend of the kelpie - a Scottish water horse that drowns unwary travelers.

About this Performance 

This performance will take place at the Dartmouth Riding Center, Morton in Etna, NH. Transportation to the Riding Center will be via bus; buses will depart from the Hopkins Center for the Arts at 1:30 pm. Reservations are required; email the Department of Theater to make your reservation. Please note that no seating wil be provided; audience members are welcome to bring their own portable folding chairs. This performance will take place rain or shine; the performance itself will take place in the Riding Center's indoor facility.
