Professor and students take on King Lear at Northern Stage

Associate Professor and Director of Theater Jamie Horton is taking on the role of an actor's lifetime at the White River Junction professional theater Northern Stage this month in the title role of their production of King Lear, which runs through February 9. A veteran actor with scores of credits to his name including over 85 roles with the Tony Award-winning Denver Center for the Arts, Jamie has been studying and preparing for the role of King Lear for over a year. Northern Stage's production of King Lear also features current e-termers Stella Asa '22 in the role of Cordelia; Kate Budney '21, Hannah Haile '20, Holden Harris '20, and Lexi Warden '21 in the ensemble; and Millenah Nascimento '21 as an Assistant Stage Manager.

Tickets to King Lear at Northern Stage will be $5 for current Dartmouth students for the Friday evening January 31 performance at 7:30 pm; a bus will be available to take students from Dartmouth to and from the theater in White River Junction.
