ABOUT THE PLAY AND THE PRODUCTION
An original work written by Creative Writing major Maddy Waters '19. A dramatic, queer re-telling/reinterpretation of the classical myth Cupid and Psyche, this one-act play uses a non-linear, experimental structuire to grapple with the modern queer themes of an ancient story.

This is a Studio Lab project directed by Kelleen Moriarty '19, encompassing approximately 12 hours of rehearsal over 3 weeks. The project will culminate in a staged reading performance in the Bentley Theater on Saturday February 2 @ 8:00 pm. Please note that students involved in this project are still eligible to be cast/involved in other theater department productions this term. Students are encouraged to read the script prior to auditions! Cupid and Psyche is PDF iconavailable HERE for viewing (Note: no printing please!)
