A Lunchtime Conversation with the Professional Playwrights of JAGFest 2.0

One of the newest professional theater companies inthe region, JAG Productions is dedicated to producing classic, contemporary, and new theatrical works that excite intellectual engagement and catalyze a shift to more compassion and empathy via the lens of the African-American experience. JAGFest 2.0, their second annual festival of new plays in development by African-American playwrights, is coming up February 9-11. The four participating playwrights - Korde Arrington Tuttle, Nathan Yungerberg, Zhailon Levingston, and NSangou Njikam (bios available HERE) - will be having lunch with the Theater Department on February 6, sharing their perspectives as artists of color working in the theater industry and discussing the practical daily challenges of building a career and a life as a creative artist in today's world.
