A New York City Hit for Dartmouth Faculty and Alums

Northern Stage's production Only Yesterday is curently enjoying rave reviews and a sold-out off-Broadway run in New York City! Directed by Professor Carol Dunne, the production features the work of a number of Dartmouth collaborators, including lighting and projection design by Theater Department Chair Dan Kotlowitz and set design by Associate Professor Michael Ganio. Multiple Dartmouth alumna are also working on the production, including Virginia Ogden '18, Assistant Director; Jackie Pageau '18, Assistant Producer; and Robert Cueva '17, Assistant Lighting Designer. 

An intimate look at the friendship between two brilliant young men in the days before they became rock n' roll legends, Only Yesterday follows John Lennon and Paul McCartney through the events of a single night spent stranded by bad weather in a cheap Key West motel room. The play was recently selected as a New York Times Critic's Pick.

Northern Stage is a LORT-D professional regional theater in White River Junction, VT led by Artistic Director and Dartmouth Professor Carol Dunne; the theater enjoys a close collaborative working relationship with the Department of Theater, including a successful experiential-learning term that allows students to immerse themselves in a professional theatrical environment on their off-term.
