YourSpace, Winter 2018: Happy Days

  • The Winter 2018 YourSpace project will be a reading/performance of Samuel Beckett's powerful "Happy Days" with Jackie Pageau '18 and Nic Bergen '20.

Samuel Beckett's masterpiece about marriage, aging and desperation. A New York Times review of Happy Days, at its opening in 1961, read “…the work reflects sorrowing vision of man and his world…Mr. Beckett’s threnody is grim, but in its muted, tremulous way it shimmers with beauty.” This two-person play contains intense adult themes and strong language.
